A surge of exciting new telecom products and services!

About Telarus

Telarus is the number one master agency as voted by the members of the Telecom Association in both 2008 and 2009. It is our goal to make agents and VARs more successful than they can be on their own or with any other master agent. Telarus provides agents the tools, automation, and superior support they need to gain a competitive advantage in telecom sales.

One example of the tools Telarus  provides its agents is real-time voice and data price quoting through its patented GeoQuote technology. GeoQuote makes it possible for business shoppers and agents to access instant pricing and availability information from over 30 broadband data and voice service providers.

Telarus and Commission River is excited to bring you new and innovative telecom products and services to use yourself. Below is a list of telecom products and services that we think will give you a fantastic money-saving opportunity:

New ShopForEthernet site launched!

When ShopforT1.com launched back in 2003, it was revolutionary. Agents were given the ability to attract web visitors to their site with real-time T1 quotes.  Now, we're doing it again!

We are excited to announce the launch of our newest web site for our commercial telecom program: ShopforEthernet.com

Ethernet will be in five years what T1s are now - the standard for commercial broadbandEthernet allows customers to connect DIRECTLY to the carrier's network at speed of 10 mbps to 10 gbps for under $20 per meg. The problem with Ethernet is it's availability.  Never before have carriers ever disclosed where they have their expensive fiber that makes Ethernet possible.  These carriers have now entrusted this highly valuable information to Telarus for use on ShopforEthernet.com.

Combining the database of "lit buildings" we've received from the best of telecom providers and Google maps, we created a visual research tool that will foster interest in Ethernet Service as well as assist companies looking to relocate find office space close to an Ethernet Service Provider.

Ethernet?  Yeah, it's a way for businesses to get up to 10GB broadband connections with prices as low as $10 per meg.  The catch?  The business must by physically located in or near a building that has an "on ramp" to the fiber backbone of the Internet.  Many different carriers have facilities across the country, and Telarus is the ONLY company that can tell our customers where they are! Together with Google maps, Telarus has created a tool that will allow you to generate price quotes for  Metro Ethernet Broadband.

Metro Ethernet is the future of commercial broadband, and carriers are spending at a frantic pace trying to build the facilities necessary to reach the biggest clients.  Not only are Ethernet sales larger than T1's (the average Ethernet customer pays over $2000/month, as opposed to a $400 T1), Ethernet customers don't churn.  In most cases, there aren't any other choices in the building except the one carrier who has fiber present.

The evolution of metro ethernet quotes is complete.  IP broadband signals carried over a fiber optic cable are reshaping the way businesses work.  With metro ethernet, the name of the service that carries IP signals over fiber, businesses are able to transmit data over the Internet - or private network - at speeds of up to 40 GB per second. Even better, the entry point for businesses to get in on this new technology can be as low as 10 MB, all for under $1000. The great feature of IP broadband over fiber is that is it truly scalable.  The only limitation to how much a company can scale is the router it uses to connect to the carrier's IP backbone.

 ShopforMPLS.com Launched

MPLS The time has finally come to welcome the latest addition to the Commission River family of marketing sites: ShopforMPLS.com! It was officially launched and has already started to bring in the big-ticket customers. This new web site gives you the opportunity to know one of the fastest growing segments of commercial broadband market today - Multiprotocol Label Switching.

MPLS provides dedicated commercial Internet customers with unrivaled performance and exceptional value. It is the perfect solution for environments where real-time voice or video traffic is a top priority. All packets traveling across a customer's network are automatically labeled according to the type of traffic they are carrying. This allows packets that are most sensitive to network latency to be given top priority over less critical traffic like e-mail and web browsing. The end result is an intelligently routed network that provides superior reliability without the need for additional equipment or monitoring on the part of the customer.

Four Voice

TELARUS parteners with a good telecom provider for SIP Trunking!

SIP what?  Simply put, SIP is a technology that enables VoIP hardware to effectively route to different IP addresses on the Internet, making it possible for businesses to answer a call, put the caller on hold, and transfer the call to another office in Europe - all over the Internet using VoIP.

LetsTalkWhile T1's have been our staple in the past, Telarus has recently released new sales tools that have enabled agents to begin quoting and selling upstream products such as Ethernet, SIP Trunking, and MPLS.

Ethernet 101!

Simply put, Etherne Broadband requires a direct fiber connection between the customer and the carrier. This glass connection allows customers the ability to enjoy between 10 MB - 1 GB broadband speeds. Our customers can use this to connect to the Internet or to connect themselves to other offices within their same company. Telarus has created a site for you where you can generate ethernet broadband price quotes.

Tel3

SIP Voice Service

With SIP Trunking our customers can save money by connecting their IP PBX Systems directly to one of our many VoIP providers via broadband. SIP trunks give business customers the ability to bypass the local telephone company's traditional analog (PSTN) network and connect directly to a VoIP carrier, often at tremendous savings.

MPLS Service

MPLS, or Multi Protocol Label Switching, is quickly replacing Frame Relay and ATM as the technology of choice for carrying high-speed data and digital voice on a single connection. MPLS not only provides customers with better reliability and increased performance, but can often decrease their overall costs through increased network efficiency. Its ability to assign priority to packets carrying voice traffic makes it the perfect solution for carrying VoIP calls. Telarus can now provide price quotes from a number of carriers utilizing MPLS technology.

T1 Lines - Our Bread and Butter!

ShopForT1A T1 line is a dedicated high-speed internet connection that businesses use to connect to the Internet. Many businesses are too big and rely on their connection too much to risk their future with a DSL line, so T1 is their only answer. Prices of T1 lines have come down from $1000 in 2001, to around $375 today. Using Telarus Geoquote, you can get a real-time T1 Price Quote, or you can just link to ShopforT1.com, the main T1 shopping portal.

POTS now available in GeoQuote

WBBWe are excited to announce the addition of yet another new product to GeoQuote: POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service), or local phone lines. For years agents have struggled with POTS, as many carriers monitor the status of T1 routers through a POTS line, not to mention fax lines, emergency lines, etc. Now closers will have the ability to research availability, prices, and the prices of add-on features including voicemail, conference calling, caller ID, and more.
